About Steven L. Feldman, MD

Dr. Feldman is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He received his B.S. degree from Brooklyn College and his M.D. degree from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He served as an intern and resident at Kings County Hospital-State University Hospital in Brooklyn and completed his residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

After serving in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, he completed his Rheumatology training at Kings County Hospital-State University Hospital of New York. He was board-certified as a Diplomate of Internal Medicine in 1974, and he was board-certified as a Diplomate of Rheumatology in 1978. Before establishing his practice in Florida in 1979, he was a member of a rheumatology group in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Dr. Feldman is currently on the staff of Florida Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the Florida Society of Rheumatology, and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. In addition to diagnosing and managing rheumatic disease, he uses his expertise to create a care plan for each patient.

Dr. Feldman also teaches and trains young rheumatologists completing their fellowship programs.

Meet The Staff

Miriela Fernandez

Miriela Fernandez has been with us as a medical assistant for twenty-seven years. She was born in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba, and came to the United States when she was eight years old. She is an expert in drawing blood, assisting the doctor with joint injections, and is a great anchor to the team. She speaks Spanish fluently.

Gloriane Theophilus

Gloriane Theophilus hails from the US Virgin Island Saint Croix and has been a medical assistant with us for twenty years. She is an excellent asset to our office, showing extreme compassion and kindness as she cares for our patients.

Maggie Glemaud

Maggie Glemaud is the newest addition to our office staff. She was born in Haiti and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Coincidentally, she went to the same high school as Dr. Feldman (Wingate High School). She always wears a smile and compliments the staff, lending a helping hand. She brings thirty years of experience as an X-ray tech and speaks Creole.

Norma Feldman

Norma Feldman serves as the office manager. She is the team leader who brings her unique style to set the tone for our office's operation. She hails from Brooklyn, New York. Please be sure to look for our monthly seasonal displays that she creates.
